Report illegal content
Anyone can use this form to tell us about content on Paw & Story they believe is illegal. You do not need an account, and you do not need to be the person affected. What you can report here is anything on the site: a memory somebody left on a memorial page, a photograph on one, or anything else you find.
What we need from you
The law sets out what a notice should contain. Giving us all of it lets us act on your notice properly, instead of writing back to ask for more.
- Why you believe the content is illegal, explained well enough that we can see the reasoning (Article 16(2)(a)).
- Exactly where it is — the address of the page, and, if you can name it, which memory (Article 16(2)(b)).
- Your name and email address, so we can confirm we have your notice and tell you what we decided (Article 16(2)(c)).
- A confirmation that what you have told us is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge (Article 16(2)(d)).
Reporting child sexual abuse material
A report of child sexual abuse material, or of the exploitation or solicitation of a child, may be made without giving a name or an email address. The law requires us to accept it that way — Article 16(2)(c) excepts information involving the offences in Articles 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU — and when it is sent that way we record nothing about who sent it. This means we cannot write back, so keep the reference the form gives you. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police; reporting to us is not a substitute for that.
What happens next
- If your notice carries an email address, we confirm receipt without undue delay (Article 16(4)).
- A person reads and assesses every notice. We do not use automated decision-making on them, so no decision here is taken by a machine (Article 16(6) requires us to say if we did).
- We tell you what we decided and how you can challenge that decision (Article 16(5)).
- We may remove content, refuse to publish it, or leave it in place — and we explain which of these we did and why.
- The owner of a memorial page is told when something is removed from their page.
Other ways to reach us
hello@pawandstory.com is the single point of contact for anyone using the service, reachable in English or Hungarian, and a person answers it — not only an automated system. The same address reaches us for authorities. Paw & Story is run by Egységmester Kft., seat 2330 Dunaharaszti, Gyóni Géza köz 8., Hungary, company reg. no. 13-09-162959, EU VAT no. HU24291608.
If this is not about illegal content
If you left a memory on a memorial page and want it taken down, email hello@pawandstory.com naming the memorial and enough of your words for us to find it — the Privacy Policy explains this. If you own the memorial page, you can approve or delete any memory on your own page yourself, at any time. If you want your own data erased, see /account/delete.
